MEM: Jaime & Maria Ayala | Wycliffe Bible Translators | Lima, Peru

Maria and Jaime serve the Bible translation movement in Peru in some very strategic areas. Jaime serves on the Americas Area Leader Development team, supporting key leaders in the Bible translation movement through training, coaching, and team building. He also works with churches and mission organizations to promote the mission movement and to encourage involvement of more Latin Americans in cross-cultural service. Jaime and Maria serve together in three key areas: continuing to provide support for AMWAN, the Wanca Quechua ministry organization; delivering training in Inter-Cultural living for new recruits, and seasoned missionaries, which helps strengthen teams and allows people to be sturdy as they serve; and coordinating logistics for events and conferences. Maria is also responsible for ensuring that all our personnel are aware of their responsibility to protect our children as she gives child protection training within our organization.
