“2 & 3 John” - Bible Book-a-Month

These letters were written by the Apostle John, and deals with Christian hospitality -- who to invite in and who not! False teachers were taking advantage of the hospitality of believers as an in road to spread their heresy. Since Christian hospitality is a means to connect with the lost, how does one discern and maintain the proper balance? Last month, 1 John was taught by Pastor Steve Cornell and William Hazelton Wrighton. This epistle has three main burdens. First John shows that Jesus is the Son of God. Secondly he proves that those who are related to Christ by faith must live righteously. And then he brings out the truth that we who love the Lord will love one another. This epistle is desperately needed in our day and Christians should practice what John preaches. Get it or any other set available as a back order today!

In previous months, Titus taught by Dr. Bob Burrelli and Dr. Frank Gaebelein. Titus was a “trouble shooter.” Paul used him to good advantage a number of times. Titus went to Corinth to help in the troubles of that Church. In this letter he is in Crete. In this short letter Paul deals with problems of order in the local churches of Crete. He speaks about the qualifications and functions of elders and the pastoral or church work of an elder.

Another important Bible Book-a-Month study was Jude taught by Dr.Bob Burrelli and S. Coder Maxwell. The epistle of Jude is a strongly worded epistle even though it is a short one. He strikes hard at the apostasy which he regards as imminent. Then he urges upon all believers the necessity for their defending the pure faith which was once for all delivered unto the saints.

Jude uses strong words to describe the outcome in the lives of those who are apostate. The warnings about judgment and the vengeance of God upon unbelief are strong that men must fear such judgment—and they can avoid it only by true faith in the Lord Jesus.

Provide evangelism and discipleship tools to our listening audience (in 2005, over 4500 Red Sox DVD’s were distributed)
Provide Newsletters that contain biblical teaching to approximately 15,000 subscribers.

Provide many teaching cassettes, discipleship booklets, studies and articles at no charge to those in need of biblical teaching.
Helping others get exposure of God’s work in and through them by “sharing the microphone” with our “Many Voices, One Message” so that the body of Christ is strengthened and encouraged.
