Songtime USA has 6 basic ministries and this month, we are adding a 7th – “Sounds of the Past and Present”. This is a 15 minute program which utilizes the Great Expository Bible teachers of the past. Many in the current generation have never heard of them and therefore they have missed out on some of the great expositors! The result is almost a total disregard for 2 Timothy 3:16:
“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness..” Help Songtime USA offer this program to hundreds of radio stations to demonstrate that the Word of God is all sufficient.
New Broadcast Announcements:

This month the Book of 2 Peter taught by Dr. Dick Hubbard and F. Schuyler English. Written by Peter shortly before his death by martyrdom this book resembles 2 Timothy. It is a short letter and is not directed to any specific church or locality. It has a mes sage for Christians of all ages.
2 Peter concerns itself with the coming apostasy. Peter warns against church leaders allowing sin and iniquity to abound in the churches and that for monetary considerations He states that this apostasy will bring blindness upon people so that they no longer look for the coming of the Lord. It Is a great epistle which needs to be read and re-read often.
Last month's Bible Book-a-Month study was Haggai taught by Chester McCalley and Frank Gaebelien. Haggai prophesied after the seventy years captivity when the remnant returned to the land. Haggai speaks about the unfinished temple and his burden is to encourage the people to complete their task of rebuilding. He, along with Zechariah and Malachi, are the prophets of the post-captivity period.

Thank you for your support of Songtime over the years. We look forward to your continued support of our ministry this year as we continue to reach the lost and disciple the saved through our radio broadcasts, the Internet, and our CD and tape ministry. The following list will give you an idea of what your financial support and prayers enables Songtime to do:
|
These are some of the projects that would be impossible without the financial support of people like you. In 2006, we plan to continue the development and distribution of evangelism and discipleship tools, as well as ministering daily on radio and via the Internet. We receive many opportunities to minister the Gospel, such as new radio stations or the opportunity to be heard daily coast to coast on XM Satellite radio. If we can raise our budget by $10,000 per month, we can take on these new opportunities. It’s as simple as 1,000 people committing to increase their current giving by $10 per month. Please prayerfully consider these opportunities and return the Songtime 2006 pledge card with your gift so that we can go forward with all the outreach opportunities in 2006. We cannot do it alone! Thanks again for your continued support of Songtime USA. |
Dear John,
This morning we had one of our younger deacons speak at our monthly prayer breakfast. He spoke about growing up in his Portuguese family. He is the last of eight children. He said that one morning his mother was folding and ironing clothes. And he added that you can imagine how many clothes there are with a family of eight. She was listening to the radio. And who should be on the radio, Songtime with Dr. John DeBrine. She heard your program and gave her heart to the Lord. A few years later his father gave his life to the Lord. Then all the kids were brought up as born again Christians.
If it had not been for your program and your faithfulness in preaching God’s Word, they would all still be lost. If not for your program, he would not be a deacon in our church. He would not be our new Sunday School teacher. Our church would not have the blessing of him serving us ....

"Again and again, the Lord encourages him to be strong and of a good courage. There was only one condition which Joshua had to meet; he was to obey the Word of God without deviation. He was to meditate in it day and night. When one is saturated with the Word of God, he will instinctively do
the Will of God." - Carl Armerding (June 2002 Bible Book-A-Month - Joshua)
