Has God warned His people in His prophetic word about what the future holds and how things will come to pass in the last days? I believe He has! The prophet Daniel was told, as recorded in Daniel 12:9-10, Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.
As I survey the landscape of America and the world at large it becomes increasingly clear that we are living in the closing days of the world as we know it and that Jesus is coming at any moment. It is clear from scripture that the wicked, that is the lost of this world, will not comprehend the lateness of the hour. They will continue to do that which is right in their own eyes and call good evil and evil good, oblivious that they are on the precipice of destruction. I understand this because the Word states it and I can see it right before my eyes. However, what is really daunting is the fact while most followers of Jesus say with their lips they believe Christ is coming soon, they live their lives as though He were not!
Daniel tells us the wicked will never understand so why are we shocked when Bible prophecy is mocked and laughed at by the unbelievers? Why do we get angry when our leaders and politicians keep making mistake after mistake when it comes to moral issues and policies in our land? They don’t get it and they never will!
However, Daniel also tells us the wise of this world will understand. This means that believers can comprehend the times in which we live because of Godly wisdom which comes from our study of His word and His indwelling presence. James 1:5 tells us to ask for wisdom and God will give it to us freely! It is one thing to possess knowledge and quite a different thing to have Godly wisdom to see the Big Picture.
As I look at the Big Picture I see this world racing toward the culmination of world history and the ultimate crowning event of all time, the Return of our Lord Jesus Christ. First, to take His bride to the Father’s house (heaven) and then to judge this lost world, and finally returning visibly, physically to this earth as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
The only real question is, Are You Ready?

Dr. Frazier’s educational background includes the Criswell Center for Biblical Studies in Dallas, Texas and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He holds a M.A. and Ph.D. from Louisiana Baptist University, Shreveport, Louisiana, and Honorary Doctorates from Liberty University, Lynchburg, Virginia and International Seminary, Plymouth, Florida.
